Troy Baird is based in London, UK and his main focus is documentary filmmaking and documentary photography.

Troy was born in Australia with a barefoot coastal upbringing. Immediately after finishing film school in his early twenties, he was head-hunted by a production company for his visually striking style, and sent to countless countries all over the globe to make emotional short documentaries for different organisations.

These experiences are where the seeds of a passion for documentary began to grow, but being sure not to lose his cinematic eye that was born in his early life and film school years.

During his time in Australia and his 4 years living in Canada, breaking into the North American market, Troy has directed various TVC's, branded content pieces, and more cinematic documentaries. He is continuing that trajectory in London, and is excited to see where it takes him next.
